Business Consultancy

For over 35 years I’ve supported founders and leaders to achieve their goals. As their commercial counsel I’ve been the person with that rare objective detachment, providing a listening ear and curiosity about what they want to achieve for the business. For much of my career I have been a leader of high performing teams, and most recently, I was part of the senior management team (the GC) of a high-achieving start up, Collecting Cars.

I provide business and commercial consultancy and advice to fast growth and SME businesses. This includes high level advice to the board on commercial issues, strategy, risk and legal compliance. I can be a board advisor, or I can be a non-executive director; I’ve held several board level roles, and will always give pragmatic advice focused on the business needs.

My client companies are usually £1m to £20m turnover, owner-managed and on a growth strategy, possibly seeking a liquidity event. I work across a range of sectors and I am particularly experienced in professional services, software and tech, e-commerce, retail, luxury goods, food, and automotive.
